INCIDENT:  Assault with a Deadly Weapon/ Stabbing

DATE/TIME: August 3, 2015 at 12:45 a.m.

LOCATION:  Cienega Avenue and Bonnie Cove Avenue, unincorporated Covina

VICTIM:  23-year-old female

SUSPECT:  Male, White, 20’s, 5’10”, 180 lbs, blue eyes, short blonde hair

San Dimas Sheriff’s deputies responded to Cienega Avenue and Bonnie Cove Avenue, Unincorporated Covina, in regards to a reported stabbing.  The victim, a 23-year-old female, was skateboarding with friends on the campus of Tri Community Adult School when she was approached by a male transient on a bicycle.

The victim recognized the male as an acquaintance.  After making eye contact with each other, the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife, prior to abandoning his bicycle and jumping over a fence.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and is listed in fair condition.

The suspect remains outstanding
