National Night Out & RX Take Back August 4th, 6pm to 9pm at the Pt. Pleasant Community Park on Bridge Avenue. 
During the National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4th, 2015, the Point Pleasant Police Department will be conducting a special prescription medication take-back event where residents can anonymously dispose of unwanted prescription medications. The National Night Out will be held at the Community Park located on Bridge Avenue in Point Pleasant from 6pm to 9pm.
The Point Pleasant Police Department is committed to helping our community with the fight against opiate addiction. Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this take back event and bring your unwanted medications to the National Night Out to safely dispose of them for good, using our mobile drop box. If you can not make it to the National Night Out, the Point Pleasant Police Department has a permanent drop location located in the lobby of police headquarters where you are able to safely dispose of your unwanted medications 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
