HMPD Officers arrest woman for prescription fraud. 
On Wednesday July 28, 2015 at approximately 4:45pm, Hope Mills Police Officers responded to the CVS located on South Main Street in reference to a subject attempting to obtain prescription medication by using a forged prescription. When the suspect, Regina Monroe 56, of the 100 block of Arabian Road, Lumberton, left the CVS, Officers stopped the vehicle that she was in and took her into custody. Ms. Monroe was then transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center where she was jailed under a $5000.00 bond for the following charges:
1 count of Felony Obtaining Controlled Substance by Fraud.
1 count of Felony Trafficking Opium
