Dear Residents,
Once a year, officers from all over the country join with residents from their respective jurisdictions and beyond to celebrate partnerships between the two, as well as to recognize safe communities and those that work every day to keep it that way. In other words, we PARTY!
That party, officially called “National Night Out,” is rapidly approaching, and will be taking place in your own back yard! This year, we have brought in some new additions, along with some of our traditional favorites, that we believe will make the experience more fun for you and your family than ever before!
This week, our Community Services Division is working overtime to finalize the list of participating agencies, attendees, and vendors. As soon as that list is complete, we will be forwarding it to you via Nixle.
We are very excited to bring this event to you, and look forward to seeing you there! Stay tuned for updates!
**Upper Macungie National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, August 4th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Lone Lane Park, 30 Lone Lane in Upper Macungie Township. Admittance to this event, as well as parking, is free of cost. Food and drinks will be available for a small fee. This event is open to Upper Macungie residents as well as those from surrounding communities. Event is rain or shine. Questions? Call UMTPD headquarters at 484-661-5911. **
