Detectives from the Chula Vista Police Department’s Family Protection Unit are on scene of a suspicious death in an apartment at 565 McIntosh Street, Chula Vista. At 2:03 p.m. Police were notified of a male requesting an ambulance at this location. Patrol officers responded and found a man in the apartment who had several stab wounds. He was conscious and talking at the time. Police also found a female deceased inside the apartment, also with several stab wounds. The male was transported to the hospital and is currently undergoing surgery. There were no children or other persons in the apartment when police arrived. Police do not believe at this time there are any outstanding suspects.
