Harris County Sheriff’s Office North District Patrol deputies have arrested and charged two juveniles, during a burglary at a residence in the 9600 block of Crooked Wood Lane in north Harris County.

Deputies responded to an in progress call yesterday, Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at around 3:30 pm. A witness told deputies they saw the two 16 year old juveniles enter the residence and were still inside the home.

A perimeter was set up around the home by other deputies arriving. Deputies entered the residence and ordered the suspects to surrender.

A search of the rooms was conducted, and insulation was found on the floor near an unsecured attic opening. Deputies again ordered the pair to come down from the attic.

The two juvenile males complied and were taken into custody without incident. One of the juveniles was armed with a small stun gun in his pocket.

Both juveniles now face charges of burglary of a residence.

Without the cooperation of the area residents the juvenile suspects may have evaded detention and victimized another resident of this neighborhood.
