Riverside man arrested for Robbery of two teenage girls at their Rancho Cucamonga lemonade stand.
DATE/TIME: July 15, 2015 at approximately 3:45 p.m.
INCIDENT: PC211- Strong Arm Robbery
LOCATION: Mountain View Street and Terra Vista Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT: Santini Tate, 18 years old from Riverside
VICTIMS: Two 13 year old girls
On July 15, 2015 at approximately 3:45 p.m., two 13 year old girls were operating a lemonade stand when they were approached by Santini Tate. Tate told them he had no cash but wanted some lemonade. The girls gave him lemonade and he walked away. Within moments, Tate turned around, pushed over the lemonade stand and grabbed the pink and turquoise money box. Tate ran off but was quickly confronted by the girl’s brother, where he recovered the empty money box. Deputy Beau Butters responded to the area and in less than 10 minutes stopped Tate, who matched the suspect description. The suspect, Santini Tate was found in possession of $30 dollars cash and was positively identified by the victims and arrested.
Detectives are investigating other crimes committed earlier in the day wherein Tate fits the suspect description. Tate was booked at the West Valley Detention Center for the PC211 - Strong Arm Robbery.
