IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING POE ROAD IMPROVEMENTS
BETWEEN PRINCETON-KINGSTON ROAD (RT 27) AND RANDOM ROAD
On Tuesday, July 14th, weather permitting, Vollers Excavating and Construction plans to install the final surface course of bituminous pavement on Poe Road between Princeton-Kingston Road (Rt 27) and Random Road. While this work is proceeding, Poe Road will be closed during the hours of 7:00 am to approximately 7:00 pm. An additional notice will be provided by Vollers. In the event of inclement weather or if additional time is needed to complete this work, the work will proceed the following business day. We request that all properties, which have direct driveway access to Poe Road within the project limits park in a legal parking space on the nearest side streets and walk to/from your home before and during the paving installation. You can move your vehicle after the road has been re-opened later that evening.
Please note that if work is completed earlier then 7 pm, Poe Road will need to remain closed until approximately 7 pm or earlier if the inspector determines the new pavement has sufficiently cooled and cured.
Poe Road will reopen at the end of the work day. Provisions will be made if needed for emergency services vehicles.
