Jesus Alex Guzman was last seen outside his home in the 500 block of Woodlawn Avenue, Chula Vista on 6/30/15 at about 3 pm. He lives with his adult brother and sister in law. His parents reside in Florida. The family says that Guzman is autistic. However he is considered a non-dependent adult and does not take medications. Guzman has no known friends and rarely leaves his home alone. He left his cell phone, money and identification behind. There is no indication of any argument or other motive to leave home. Guzman was last seen on foot, has no vehicle, and has never used any form of public transportation on his own according to family. Although the family has conducted a recent search of their own, including passing out flyers and visiting local transient camps, they do not believe Guzman would or could function on his own for this long and are understandably concerned. Chula Vista Police are conducting a thorough investigation to locate Guzman but would of course like the public’s assistance.
