BEECHWOOD/LONGWOOD -THEFT FROM VEHICLE (FORCED ENTRY)

During the early moning hours of June 25 2009, a vehicle in the 2000 block of Beechwood St. was forcibly entered (passenger side window smashed) and a purse stolen. A credit card, which was in the purse, was used at approx. 0519 hrs (am) at a Wal-Mart in Coatesville, Pa. There were also other numerous attempts in the early morning hours to use this, and other stolen credit cards (taken from the purse). This case remains open and under investigation (Officer Stephen Marshall).
