Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man in the 5900 block of Eastern Avenue, Commerce on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 2:50 a.m.

The victim has been identified as 19 year-old Bryan Hernandez.  Detectives have learned that Mr. Hernandez was riding his bicycle home from work when he was shot and killed.

The investigation is on-going.  There is no further information available at this time.

On Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at 2:50 a.m., East Los Angeles Station deputies responded to the 5900 block of Eastern Avenue in the city of Commerce regarding a gunshot victim call for service.  When the deputies arrived they found a Hispanic man on the sidewalk, suffering from a gunshot wound to upper torso. The victim was pronounced at scene.  

There is no suspect information at this time.  

The investigation is still on-going and there is no further information at this time.
