The National Weather Service has issued a Beach Hazard statement for 2:00pm this afternoon through 8:00am Tuesday morning. Water conditions will be particularly dangerous as strong winds, high wave action, and Rip currents are expected.
Muskegon Police Department is urging residents to stay out of the water during this time.
