Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman that occurred on June 18, 2015, in the 44600 block of Stillwater Drive, Lancaster.

During their investigation, detectives were told by witnesses in the neighborhood that a person matching the description of the suspect, was possibly hiding in the bushes.  Lancaster patrol deputies responded to the area, and detained a male Black juvenile, who was hiding in the bushes.  The juvenile was positively identified by the witnesses.

Detectives conducted an interview of the juvenile.  He was arrested for murder and currently being held with no bail.

The juvenile was booked at Lancaster station, and transported to Sylmar Juvenile Hall for housing.

The investigation is still on-going.

Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman that occurred on June 18, 2015, in the 44600 block of Stillwater Drive, Lancaster.

Deputies from the Lancaster Sheriff’s Station responded to the location regarding a call of an “open window” at the residence. Upon arrival, deputies entered the home and found the woman unresponsive and suffering from what appeared to be cut wounds about her upper torso.  Paramedics responded and pronounced the woman dead at the location.

The investigation is still on-going.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau detectives are responding to the 44600 block of Stillwater Drive, Lancaster, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a female adult on Thursday, June 18, 2015 at approximately 7:07 p.m.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is still ongoing.
