Narrative:
On June 10, 2015, Detectives assigned to the Thousand Oaks Station began investigating a stabbing that occurred in the 1200 block of Avenida De Los Arboles. As a result of their initial investigation, detectives arrested Anthony Garcia for assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries. During the investigation, detectives also received information related to the sales of narcotics.

On June 18, 2015, Thousand Oaks Major Crimes Detectives along with detectives assigned to the Thousand Oaks and Moorpark Special Enforcement Units served a search warrant at Hernandez’ residence in the 100 block of Maegan Place. During the service of the search warrant, detectives recovered narcotics packaged for sale, surveillance equipment, various drug paraphernalia, and located several hidden compartments within the residence.

As a result of the search warrant, Teran, Velasco, Sanders, and Brodie were arrested for being under the influence of narcotics. Hernandez was arrested for narcotic related charges including possession of a controlled substance for sale and committing crimes while released on bail. He was booked at the Ventura County Sheriff’s Pre-Trial Detention Facility and his bail was set at $500,000.00 dollars. The suspects are scheduled to appear in Ventura County Superior Court on Monday, June 22, 2015, for their arraignment.
