Due to the recent hail storm and ongoing weather situations, the Lockport Police Department has received a high volume of door to door soliciting permit requests from home repair companies. The department anticipates a higher than usual volume of door to to door activity in the coming days. Although the majority of these businesses are registered and are legitimate, some may not be.
Please remember to verify solicitors by requesting their permits which must be made available to you upon request, or prominently displayed.
