Victorville - Murder Investigation - Suspect remains outstanding

INCIDENT: Murder Investigation
LOCATION: 15500 block of Hesperia Road, Victorville
VICTIM: Sofia Adams, age 20 of Victorville
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at approximately 2:04 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the 15500 block of Hesperia Road in response to an Unknown Problem type call for service. Upon their arrival, deputies discovered Sophia Adams deceased inside of an apartment. Due to the suspicious nature of Adams’ death, detectives from the Specialized Investigations Division – Homicide Detail were summoned and assumed the investigation.
Although the investigation is ongoing, detectives have found no evidence to support a rumor which suggested a neighbor whom Adams had a dispute with had anything to do with Adams’ death.
