Burglary- 10166 San Pablo Ave. (Asia Harbor)
Between 05/25 at 2200 hours and 05/26 at 0900 hours, shattered the front window of the restaurant and stole two tablets.

Warrant Arrest and Driving While Unlicensed- Potrero Avenue and Eastshore Blvd
At 2015 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the 31 year old man from Richmond for two outstanding warrants from Contra Costa County for violating the terms of his probation. The man was also driving while unlicensed. The officer booked the man at the El Cerrito Police Department and then released him with a citation.

Driving Under the Influence- Carlson Blvd and Lassen Street
At 2220 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested the 48 year old male driver from Daly City for DUI. The officer booked the man at the El Cerrito Police Department and then released him with a citation to a sober friend.

May 27th

Possession of a Controlled Substance- 11450 San Pablo Ave., Safeway
At 0638 hours, officers arrested 35 year-old for being in possession of methamphetamine and heroin during a suspicious person detail. The man was booked at the ECPD and then released with a citation.

Driving Under Influence of a Controlled Substance- 11450 San Pablo Ave., Safeway
At 0638 hours, officers arrested a 35 year-old female from San Pablo for driving under the influence of methamphetamine. The female was booked at the ECPD and then released with a citation.

15-11294 MCR X2 Eureka Ave / Kearney St (Beat 10) 2315 hours Ofc. Cooper conducted a ped stop and arrested a HMA - Richmond for two citeable JAWS warrants for violating the terms of his probation. Booked, cited and released.

May 28th

Burglary- 1600 Block of Julian Drive
Between 05/19 at 0945 hours and 05/28 at 1145 hours an unknown suspect forced entry into the residence and stole a laptop.

Shoplifting- 11450 San Pablo Ave., Safeway
At 0650 hours, officers arrested a 51 year-old man for stealing numerous Dove boxes of soap. The main was booked at the ECPD and then transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Burglary (Auto) – 800 Block of Gelston Place
An unknown suspect shattered the window of a Audi sedan between 05/27 at 1830 hours and 05/28 at 0730 hours, and stole a backpack containing a gift card.

Burglary- 8100 block of Terrace Drive
At 1807 hours, an officer responded to a report of a residential burglary. The victim reported that an unknown suspect opened an unlocked window to the living room and reached in without entering the home and stole a Macbook Laptop from a desk. The burglary occurred between Wednesday at 2300 hours and Thursday 0530 hours. The victim waited until 1807 hours on Thursday to report the crime.

Suspicious Circumstance- 1200 block of Cabrillo Street
At 2149 hours, an alert resident phoned police to report a suspicious person lurking in the area trying door handles to vehicles to see if they were unlocked. An officer contacted the suspect, a 50 year old man from Berkeley, and a records check revealed that he is on felony probation in Alameda County for assault with a deadly weapon. A search of his person revealed a Garmin Nuvi GPS device with a car charger. A check of recent visited addresses in the GPS to locate a victim met with negative results. The GPS was retained by the officer and the man was released from the scene.
