On June 4, 2015, members of the Daly City Police Department Traffic Unit will be conducting targeted enforcement City-wide for individuals displaying and using DMV-issued Disabled Placard permits without a lawful purpose. Any individual contacted using a disabled placard fraudulently will be subject to arrest and citation for violating California Vehicle Code sections 4462(b) and 4461(c). The officer will also confiscate the placard. Any other violations related to disabled parking spots will also be enforced.
Please obey all laws! These placards are meant for people who truly need them.
