Statement on the Nomination of New Executive Director of LAWA
LOS ANGELES, CA – The following statement is from the Los Angeles Airport Peace Officers’ Association (LAAPOA) and is in response to Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s announcement of the nomination of Deborah Ale Flint as the new executive director of the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA):
The Los Angeles Airport Peace Officers’ Association welcomes the nomination of Deborah Ale Flint as the executive director of LAWA.
The men and women who make up the rank-and-file officers of the Los Angeles Airport Police Department look forward to learning more about Ms. Flint’s vision for Los Angeles’ three airports. We want to work with her on delivering the best safety and security while continuing to assist LAWA in making meaningful and continual investments in law enforcement, personnel and technology at the airport.
