Hope Mills Police Detectives arrest two for Felony Larceny.

On Saturday, May 23, 2015 at approximately 8:30pm, Hope Mills Police Officers responded to the CVS Pharmacy located at the intersection of Lakewood Drive and Rockfish Road in reference to a Larceny that had just occurred. Upon arrival, Officers found that a male and female suspect filled shopping baskets with over $2000.00 worth of non-prescription medicines and fled the store. Officers were unable to locate the suspects in the area and, the case was forwarded to the Detective Division for further investigation.

During the course of their investigation, Detectives identified two subjects as being responsible for the larceny and drew warrants on Jami Lynn Beal, 28, of the 2600 block of Stonehaven Drive, Fayetteville and, Christopher Lukas Pierce, 23, of the 3100 block of Bolivia Street, Fayetteville. On Friday, May 30, 2015, both subjects were located and arrested by Hope Mills Police Detectives and transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center.

Jami Lynn Beal received a $10,000.00 bond and was charged with:

2 Counts of Felony Larceny
1 Count of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods
1 Count of Felony Conspiracy

Christopher Lukas Pierce received a $6000.00 bond and was charged with:

1 Count of Felony Larceny
1 Count of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods
1 Count of Felony Conspiracy
