*UPDATE*#LASD Homicide Detectives Investigate Death of a Man, Golden Valley Rd and Robert C Lee Pkwy, Cyn Country

NARRATIVE:

Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are continuing their investigation into the death of a man on Golden Valley Road and Robert C Lee Parkway, Canyon Country.

Detectives have learned that, at approximately 9:30 AM, a deputy from Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station was on routine patrol in the area and observed a blue Honda Accord illegally parked on the shoulder. The deputy stopped to conduct an investigation of the vehicle.  During his investigation, the deputy conducted an inventory search of the vehicle, in preparation for a tow, and discovered a man deceased inside the vehicle.    

The cause of death is unknown at this time.
