INCIDENT: Residential Burglary

LOCATION Radio Rd. Barstow, Ca.

SUSPECT(S): 1. Helen Moss, 30 year old resident of Lucerne Valley
2. Eddie Jewell, 48 year old resident of Lucerne Valley


SUMMARY:
On Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 5:49 a.m., deputies from the Barstow Station responded to an in-progress residential burglary on Radio Rd. The victim had been notified by a neighbor that suspicious persons were at the home taking property from inside the house and placing the property in a Honda parked in the driveway. The victim called 911 to report the theft.

When deputies arrived to the residence the Honda was still there. The deputies found the front door open with property staged by the door. A search of the residence was conducted and two persons were located. Helen Moss was located and placed into custody. Eddie Jewell was found hiding and was also taken into custody. The Honda was found to belong to Helen Moss with the vehicle trunk filled with the victim’s property. Additional stolen items were found on the back seat.
