UPDATE #LASD Homicide, Death Investigation, 9000 Blk of Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of a male adult in the 9000 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood.

West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station received a 911 call regarding a structure fire.  Los Angeles County Fire department personnel arrived on scene, and discovered an unresponsive male adult on the first floor of an unoccupied commercial business building. 

The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives along with Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Arson/Explosives detectives are on scene and have initiated an investigation into the cause of the fire which is considered suspicious.

There is no further information available at this time.

UNIT:   LASD Homicide – Lieutenant Jauch

 

Los Angeles County sheriff’s homicide detectives are en route to the 9000 block of Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the death of a man.  The victim's body was discovered by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel after they extinguished a fire inside a vacant building.

He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's Arson/Explosives detectives are assisting with the investigation.
