Hope Mills Police Detectives arrest man for Breaking and Entering
On Monday, April 13, 2015 at approximately 6:30pm, Hope Mills Police Officers responded to the 4700 block of Dunrobin Drive in reference to a break-in. Officers were unable to locate the suspect and the case was forwarded to the Detective Division for follow-up investigation. During the course of their investigation, Investigators identified Zachary David Myers, 31 of the 240 block of Alexander Street, Fayetteville, as the suspect in the break-in. On the evening of Tuesday, May 19, 2015, Detectives located Mr. Myers and arrested him for the break-in. Mr. Myers was transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center where he was jailed under a $10,000.00 secured bond for the following charges:
1 count of Felony Breaking and Entering
1 count of Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering
1 count of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods
Mr. Myers was also served with multiple outstanding warrants for his failure to appear for various traffic offenses.
