CRITICAL MISSING: 86 year old Rolland Towne suffers from Dementia & was last seen May 18th at a Barstow Campground

The Barstow Sheriff’s Station is asking for the public’s assistance in locating Mr. Rolland Towne. Mr. Towne was reported missing by his family on Monday, May 18th. He was on a camping trip with family and left the campsite at approximately 5:30 a.m. The campsite is located off of Hwy 395 - Cuddeback Road and Fremont Peak, in the county area of Barstow. Mr. Towne was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, light blue jeans, white socks, white LA Gear tennis shoes with blue soles, he may also be wearing a green/gray fleece sweater. Mr. Towne is a Diabetic and has Dementia, he does NOT have any medication with him. Deputies from the Barstow Station along with Search and Rescue personnel, the CHP airship and Sheriff’s Aviation 40k immediately responded to the area. K-9 Unit from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department has assisted in the search.
The search continues for Mr. Towne.
