Barstow Depuites arrest Charles Marshall for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor 
DATE/TIME: May 18, 2015, at approximately 11:00 a.m.
INCIDENT: PC 286 - Sodomy; PC 261.5 - Unlawful Sexual Intercourse
LOCATION: 21000 Block of National Trails Highway, Barstow
SUSPECT(S): Charles Marshall, age 41, a resident of Barstow
VICTIM(S): Confidential - teenage female
SUMMARY: On Monday, May 18, 2015, at about 11:00 a.m., a teenage female victim disclosed information to a friend, that she had been molested by a family member. The suspect, was identified as Charles Marshall.
Deputies from the Barstow Station responded and began an investigation. Deputies learned the incidents occurred for nearly six months, the last incident ocurring almost a year ago. Charles Marshall was brought into the Barstow Sheriff's Station and interviewed. At the conclusion of th interview, Deputy Rodriguez arrested Charles Marshall for Sodomy and Unlawful Sexual Intercourse.
The Department of Children and Family Services were contacted and responded to the Barstow Station. The victim was placed into protective custody.
Charles Marshall was booked into the Barstow Jail in lieu of $250,000 bail for PC 286(c)(1) - Sodomy, Victim Under 14 Years of Age and PC261.5(D) - Unlawful Sexual Intercourse.
