Palmdale Station Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for grand theft.
On Tuesday, March 24, 2015, at approximately 8:15 pm, the victim’s cell phone wallet case was stolen at the Walmart located at 37140 47th St. E., in the City of Palmdale.
Surveillance video reveals the suspect was standing behind the victim while in the register line. After the victim paid for her groceries she left the store, leaving the cell phone wallet case on the cashier’s counter. The suspect began placing her grocery items on the counter at which time she picked up the victim’s wallet. The suspect immediately walked out of the store leaving her groceries on the register counter.
The suspect is described as a black female approximately 30 years-old approximately 5’06” and 150 lbs., with long black hair. During the time of the theft the suspect was wearing black and white leggings, grey shirt, white shoes and carrying a pink bag. The suspect was seen leaving in a black vehicle.
