May 8th

Recovered stolen vehicle – Conlon Ave. / Mono Ave.
At 0730 hours, an officer located a 1990 Mazda pickup that was reported stolen to Daly City PD on 4/29/15.

Warrant arrest – 1000 El Cerrito Plaza
At 1306 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and contacted a 49-year-old Albany woman. The woman was found to have an outstanding warrant for her arrest. The woman was arrested and booked at the El Cerrito Police Department before being transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Commercial burglary – 10500 block of San Pablo Ave.
At 0854 hours, an officer found that the front doors of two businesses had been shattered and the business had been entered. Store owners were unable to confirm a loss of property.

Psychiatric evaluation – San Pablo Ave. / San Jose Ave.
At 1450 hours, officers were dispatched to the area for a man screaming that he wanted to kill himself while wondering around in traffic. Officers located a 29-year-old Richmond man nearby. The reporting party stated the man was jumping into traffic while yelling that he wanted to end it all. The man was committed to a 72-hours psychiatric evaluation and transported to the Contra Costa Regional Medical Center.

Warrant Arrest - Potrero Avenue / I-80:

At 2308 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested one of the occupants, a 41 year old female, after it was discovered she had an outstanding warrant.

Driving under the Influence - Pomona Avenue / Curry Avenue:

At 2308 hours, officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle. Officers arrived on scene and determined the driver, an 18 year old female, was driving while under the influence. The female also had collided with a stop sign and ground wires. The female was booked and cited out to her mother.

Drunk in Public - San Pablo Avenue / Schmidt Lane:

At 0202 hours, an officer contacted a 43 year old male and determined he was too intoxicated to take care of himself. The male was taken into custody and taken to county jail to sober up.

May 9th

Embezzled rental vehicle, False personating, Driving without a license, Warrant arrest – Carlson Blvd. / El Dorado St.
At 1255 hours, an officer was dispatched to a vehicle collision at this intersection. The officer performed a records check of the vehicles involved and found that one of the vehicles had been reported stolen by a rental car company. The officer arrested the driver, a 20-year-old Richmond woman for possession of a stolen vehicle. The woman gave her sister’s name when asked. When the woman’s true name was revealed, she had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. The woman was booked at the El Cerrito Police Department and transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.

Warrant Arrest, Possession of a Controlled Substance - Central Avenue/San Joaquin Street:

At 1952 hours an officer arrested a 41 year old female during a pedestrian stop after it was discovered she had an outstanding warrant out of Contra Costa County.

Possession of a Controlled Substance - Stockton Ave/BART Path

At 0059 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and arrested a 37 year old male for being in possession of a controlled substance. The male was booked and then released on citation.

May 10th

Recovered stolen vehicle – Manila Ave. / Elm St.
At 1330 hours, an officer located an abandoned Nissan Maxima in the middle of the intersection. A records check revealed the car had been reported stolen to San Rafael PD on 4/2/15. Officers circulated the area but did not locate the suspects.

Possession of a Stolen Vehicle – Potrero Avenue and S.52nd St:

At 1836 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and discovered the vehicle was a reported stolen vehicle. The driver, a 30 year old male, was taken into custody. The male was booked and then transported to county jail.

Driving under the Influence, Hit and Run, Driving without a License – San Pablo Ave and Carlson Blvd:

At 2055 hours, officers were dispatched to a report of a collision. One of the drivers had left the scene without giving the other driver his information. Officer searched the area and located the driver, a 21 year old male, and discovered he had also been drinking. The male was arrested and booked, then released to a family member at the El Cerrito Police Department.

Possession of a Controlled Substance – San Pablo Ave and Plumas Ave

At 2244 hours, an officer conducted a pedestrian stop and subsequently arrested a 61 year old male for being in possession of a controlled substance. The male was booked then cited.

May 11th

Warrant Arrest - Potrero Ave/S.56nd St:
At 2210 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop and subsequently arrested one of the occupants, a thirty year old male, after it was discovered the male had an outstanding warrant out of Alameda County.
