On Wednesday, May 20th at 6pm at the Teton County Library Ordway Auditorium, Teton County Emergency Management is hosting a Hazard Mitigation Plan Public Meeting. Teton County, the Town of Jackson, and the Teton Conservation District are working to update our Multi-Hazard Mitigation Plan and we need your help.
We will discuss what the plan is, facts about past disasters in Teton County, and get your perspective on which hazards concern you the most. We will also have a short survey to fill out, and the first 40 participants to complete the survey will get a 1-person 1-day emergency kit.
When updated, this plan will include possible hazard mitigation projects that various entities could undertake to help make our community safer. Your input is important to this process. Thank you for your time.
