The National Weather Service issued a Tornado Watch for Butler County until 8pm.
Thunderstorms, including possible supercells, are expected to move/develop fairly rapidly across the watch area through early evening.
A tornado watch means conditions are favorable for tornadoes and severe thunderstorms.
Instructions:
Take necessary safety precautions. Persons in the area should be on the lookout for threatening weather conditions and listen for later information and possible warnings. If a warning is issued, the tornado sirens will sound and you should take immediate shelter. Do not call 911 unless a life threatening emergency exists.
