Traffic Collision at Oleander Ave and Montcalm St Causes Power Outage 
At approximately 4:00am this morning a vehicle traveling northbound on Oleander Ave. left the roadway and struck a SDGE power pole at the intersection of Oleander Ave. and Montcalm St. This was a single vehicle collision and there were no injuries. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI.
Power was immediately lost to the area north of Naples St. and west of Oleander Ave. SDGE crews have responded and are working to replace the damaged power pole and lines. Oleander Ave. will be temporarily closed between Naples St. and Jamul Ct. while the repairs are completed.
