HMPD Detectives arrest man for Breaking and Entering.

On Monday April 18, 2015, Hope Mills Police Officers responded to a residence located the 3200 block of Glenmore Drive in reference to a break-in. The suspect was gone upon the Officer’s arrival and, they were unable to locate the suspect in the immediate area. The break-in case was forwarded to the Hope Mills Police Detective Division and, during the course of their investigation, Detectives identified a suspect, Bradley Ray Rees, 21, of the 5400 block of Phillips Street, Hope Mills. On April 30, 2015, Mr. Rees was arrested and transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center where he was jailed under a $101,000.00 bond for the following offenses:

1 count of Felony 1st Degree Burglary
1 count of Felony Larceny after Breaking and Entering
2 counts of Felony Possession of Stolen Goods
3 counts of Felony Obtaining Property by False Pretense
