Big Bear Deputies Arrest Two Suspects for Vehicle Theft

INCIDENT: Two Suspects Arrested for Vehicle Theft
LOCATION: Carl’s Jr. Located at 41717 Thrush Dr., Big Bear Lake
SUSPECTS: Michael Buckmaster, 33-year-old WMA, Transient
Jasmine Jacobson , 19-year-old WFA, Resident of Lucerne Valley
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at approximately 4:15 p.m., deputies from the Big Bear Sheriff’s Station responded to a call of a 1996 Chevrolet utility work truck that was stolen from the parking lot of Carl’s Jr. located in Big Bear Lake. The reporting party was able to provide a description of the vehicle and direction of travel as the suspects fled the scene. Deputies located the truck driving Eastbound on Big Bear Blvd. between Stanfield Cutoff and Division Drive and conducted a felony traffic stop.
Two suspects, identified as Michael Buckmaster and Jasmine Jacobson were in the vehicle. Buckmaster and Jacobson were taken into custody without incident and booked at the Big Bear Jail for felony vehicle theft and possession of a stolen vehicle. Jacobson was additionally cited on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant for possession of a controlled substance.
Michael Buckmaster and Jasmine Jacobson remain in custody at West Valley Detention Center in lieu of $50,000 bail, pending arraignment hearings scheduled for April 30th, in San Bernardino County Superior Court.
