INCIDENT: PC 288.5(a) Oral Copulation of a Child under 10 years old
PC288.7 (b) Continual Sexual Abuse of a Child under 10 years old

LOCATION: 10700 Church Street, Rancho Cucamonga

SUSPECT: Dexter Carl Pleasure, a 51 year old from Rancho Cucamonga

SUMMARY:
On Monday, April 27, 2015, the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department-Rancho Cucamonga Police Department received a report from the Child Abuse Hotline when a mandated reporter called and described possible sexual abuse of a child under the age of 10. Deputies developed information leading them to Dexter Carl Pleasure, a 51 year old resident of Rancho Cucamonga. Pleasure was involved in sexual abuse of a child under the age of 10 for the last several years. Pleasure was a social worker for over 20 years with a private foster care agency. Pleasure had access and control over numerous children throughout his career taking them to doctor’s appointments and visitations. Pleasure is also a Worship Leader at a local church in the city of San Bernardino.

Dexter Carl Pleasure was arrested without incident at his residence and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC 288.5(a) Oral Copulation of a Child under 10 years old and PC 288.7(b) Continual Sexual Abuse of a Child under 10 years old. Pleasure is being held on $350,000.00 bail and is scheduled for court on April 30th. Detectives are concerned there may be additional victims due to Pleasure’s access to young children over the past twenty years.
