Help Prevent Vehicle Burglaries and Break-Ins 
Vehicle break-ins and thefts can be avoided by following several simple tips:
1. Always lock your vehicle.
2. Never leave anything of value in your vehicle (purses, laptops, cell phones, GPS devices, etc.).
3. Never leave mail in the vehicle.
4. Never leave house keys in vehicle.
5. Don't leave your garage door opener in plain sight.
6. Don't leave a hide-a-key on your vehicle.
7. If you have a detached face plate on the stereo, take it with you.
8. Make sure to have recorded make, models, and colors any items with serial numbers that you consistently leave in your vehicle. Leave this list at home.
