Man Threatens to Shoot Bank Clerk during Robbery

Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook announces that CPD Investigators are releasing surveillance pictures of a suspected bank robber to gain information on his identity and whereabouts.

The robbery occurred this morning at the First Citizens Bank at 2600 Rosewood Drive.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a heavy set black male, approximately 6’4” and possibly 250 pounds.
He was last seen wearing eyeglasses and a black and white striped baseball cap with a white T-shirt, black ‘hoodie,’ and black pants.
