April 17th
Domestic Violence Battery – BART path/ Hill St.
At 1403 hours, Officers were dispatched to a report of a male who had thrown a female onto the ground and then begun to rummage through her purse. Officers arrived and contacted the female victim who identified the male suspect as her boyfriend, a 19 year old Vallejo man. Officers located the man on the Del Norte BART station platform and he was arrested. He also had a no bail warrant for his arrest. He was booked and transported to the Contra Costa County Detention Facility in Martinez.

Juvenile Welfare Check – Freeway Motel 11645 San Pablo Avenue:
At 1605 hours, an officer responded to check the welfare of a juvenile at the Freeway motel. The 16 year old juvenile’s mother had been hospitalized and she had no means to care for herself. Child Protective Services responded and took custody of the juvenile as she had no relatives to take her in.

April 18th

Driving under the influence of an Alcoholic Beverage: Pomona Ave. / Stockton Avenue:
At 0021 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle, a 54 year old Richmond woman was determined to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. She was booked and released to a sober relative.

Driving under the influence of an Alcoholic Beverage: San Pablo Avenue / Madison Avenue:
At 0214 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle, a 49 year old Richmond man was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He also had a loaded pistol in his pocket. He was booked and released on a citation to a sober relative.

Warrant Arrest San Pablo Ave. / Plumas Ave.
At 0232 hours, an officer contacted a woman during a pedestrian stop. The woman, a 38 year old Richmond resident had a felony Contra Costa County warrant for her arrest. She was booked and transported to the Contra Costa County Detention Facility in Martinez.

Warrant Arrest San Pablo Avenue / Wall Avenue:
At 0508 hours, an officer contacted a subject during a pedestrian stop. The subject a 29 year old Vallejo resident had two misdemeanor Contra Costa County warrants for his arrest. He was booked and released on a citation.

Warrant Arrest 11565 San Pablo Ave. At 1054 hours, an officer contacted a subject drinking beer in the Walgreens parking lot. The subject, a 57 year old Albany man had three El Cerrito Police Department warrants for his arrest. He was booked and transported to the Contra Costa County Detention Facility in Martinez.

Warrant Arrest San Pablo Avenue / Carlson Blvd: At 2105 hours, officers spotted a subject with a parolee at large warrant for his arrest. The parolee, a 35 year old man from Hercules was arrested. He was booked and transported to the Contra Costa County Detention Facility in Martinez.

15-8311 11350 HSC San Pan Pablo Avenue / Potrero Avenue: At 0318 hours, an officer arrested an Hispanic male adult, for possession of ¼ gram of cocaine during a traffic stop. He was booked and released on a citation.





April 19th

Attempted Car Jacking 1000 EC Plaza: At 0043 hours, officers responded to the report of an attempted carjacking. The victim was taking a break behind Lucky’s in her vehicle. She was confronted by a black male, 30’s, 6’00”, thin build, black sweatshirt, blue jeans, white athletic shoes. He asked her how to get to Pittsburg and then tried to open her door and demanded she get out of the car. She drove away and the suspect was last seen northbound.

Driving under the influence of an Alcoholic Beverage: Everett St./ Potrero Avenue:
At 0226 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle, a 35 year old El Cerrito resident was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage. He was booked and released on a citation to a sober relative.

Possession of a Controlled Substance - San Pan Pablo Avenue / Potrero Avenue:
At 0318 hours, an officer conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle, a 32 year old Richmond man was found to be in possession of approximately 1/3 gram of powdered cocaine.
