Alejandro Gutierrez has been identified by the Chula Vista Police Department's Crimes of Violence Unit as the suspect in an April 2nd, 2015 attempt homicide shooting incident in Chula Vista. On 4/16/15 at about 6:00pm Gutierrez was observed by members of the US Marshal's Fugitive Apprehension Team in the area of Second and Palomar, Chula Vista. When they attempted to contact him, he immediately fled on foot. Chula Vista Police responded to assist. Officers searched the area for about 2 hours without success. Gutierrez is considered armed and dangerous.
