5th Pct Community Alert: The Suffolk County Police Department is investigating an emerging pattern of deception burglaries that appear to be targeting the elderly. In these instances, a female perpetrator knocks on the door of the targeted victim and lures the person into the backyard while another perpetrator enters the residence. Please share this information with family, friends and neighbors. If you see anything suspicious, call 911 to report it.
