On April 15, 2015 at 10:45 AM, Camarillo deputies arrested three suspects for residential burglary.

On Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 10:30 AM, Camarillo deputies were dispatched to a residential burglary in-progress call in the 5000 block of Mulberry Drive, in the city of Camarillo. Upon arrival, deputies noticed a vehicle parked down the street from the residence, with its engine running and a subject seated in the drivers’ seat.

While deputies made contact with the driver, they saw two suspects fleeing out of the back of the residence. The suspects jumped over the backyard fence and ran south towards Santa Rosa Road. Deputies chased the subjects into the Leisure Village complex where they temporarily lost sight of them. Deputies established a perimeter and were able to contain the subjects to a specific area of the complex. A Sheriff’s helicopter also responded to the location to assist with the search. Shortly after establishing the perimeter, deputies located one of the suspects and took him into custody without incident.

Leisure Village security was contacted by a resident about a subject hiding underneath a car, and deputies were able to locate him and placed him in custody. All three suspects are from the Los Angeles area. They were booked at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility for first degree residential burglary.
