Armed Robbery at Corte Madera Town Center

Location: Rite Aid, Corte Madera Town Center (431 Corte Madera Town Center, Corte Madera)

Suspect: #1: White male adult, approx. 6’ tall, 165 pounds, 40-50 years old, baseball hat, dust mask covering mouth and nose, white jumpsuit, black shirt underneath the jumpsuit. (See attached photo)

On April 15, 2015 at 1:05pm, the Central Marin Police Authority received a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred at the Rite Aid Pharmacy at the Corte Madera Town Center. A witness reported a subject, armed with what appeared to be a black handgun, entered the area behind the pharmacy counter, and took prescription narcotic medications.

The subject was last seen leaving the south end of the Corte Madera Town Center.

CMPA Officers set up a perimeter in the area. An extensive search was conducted but the subject was not located. During the course of the search, a replica firearm was located and is believed to be the firearm used during the commission of the robbery.
