On Tuesday, April 14, at 6:27 PM, an attempted robbery occurred in the 1900 block of E. Menlo Blvd. The 15 year old victim was walking east on the sidewalk when an unknown suspect approched him and asked to use his cell phone. The victim declined and 3 to 4 more suspects got out of a nearby parked minivan and attacked the victim. The victim was knocked to the ground, but he was able to get up and run away.
