North Farmington High School will be hosting Drugs 101: What Parents Want To Know on Thurs., April 16, 6:30pm-8:30pm.

On Thursday, April 16th, North Farmington High School will be hosting Drugs 101: What Parents Want To Know. Sponsored by the Farmington Hills Police Department, Farmington Public Safety Department, the Call to Action Coalition and the Farmington Public Schools PTA Council, this event is an opportunity for adults to learn about the signs, symptoms and current trends of teen drug use. In addition, parents will learn facts about trends in teen drug use, tools to identify potential teen drug use, and skills to engage kids in conversations. A highlight of this program is mock teenager's bedroom set-up for adults to observe and attempt to identify the obvious and not-so-obvious drug related paraphernalia.

This event will be held on Thursday, April 16th, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at North Farmington High School, located at 32900 W. 13 Mile Road in Farmington Hills. Please note: This is a FREE program for ADULTS ONLY. You can register online at www.stjoeshealth.org/classes.
