HMPD Officers arrest man for vehicle break-in. 
On Monday, April 13, 2015, at approximately 3:45 am, Hope Mills Police Officers were dispatched to the area of Pinewood Drive and Hemlock Drive intersection in reference to a subject breaking into a vehicle. Upon arrival in the area, Officers learned that the suspect, Bryan Kenneth Burns, 27, of the 3200 block of Periwinkle Drive, Fayetteville NC, was still in the area and possibly being followed by a resident of the area. Officers located Mr. Burns on Legion Road in the area of Spruce Street and took him into custody without incident. Mr. Burns was transported to the Cumberland County Detention Center where he was jailed under a $10,000.00 bond for the following charges:
1 count of Felony Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle
1 count of Misdemeanor Larceny
1 count of Misdemeanor Possession of Stolen Goods
