Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Homicide Bureau detectives are advising that deputy personnel in Palmdale have made two arrests in connection with the murder of Luis Amela, that occurred on Tuesday, March 31, 2015.  

On Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at approximately 3:00 p.m. deputies arrested a 17 year-old male Hispanic, and a 17 year-old female Hispanic for accessory to murder. Both subjects are believed to have either been involved with the murder, and/or assisted the individual who shot the victim, after the murder.  

The shooter is still outstanding at this time.    

Both subjects were booked at Palmdale Sheriff’s Station and are to appear at Sylmar Juvenile Court on April 09, 2015.  

There is no additional suspect information at this time.

The investigation is still ongoing.
