OSBI investigative and crime scene agents are currently working a suspicious death east of Hinton. Tuesday morning a Department of Transportation worker clearing brush from an area near Interstate 40 spotted the body in the ditch. The medical examiner’s office will perform an autopsy to determine the person’s gender, identity, and cause of death. Agents spent hours Tuesday afternoon searching the area for clues near where the body was found. Investigators will also look through missing persons reports from that part of Oklahoma.
