On 4/5/15, at approximately 12:45 AM, the Folsom Police Department received reports of a shooting with a person down in the 600 block of Sutter Street. Officers responded and found a 30 year-old male, from Folsom, had been shot at the entrance to a business. Witnesses statements indicated there had been an argument prior to the shooting. The victim was transported to an area hospital and is in critical condition. Officers searched the area with the help of police canines and a helicopter, but the suspect(s) had fled.
Investigators worked throughout the day and subsequently served multiple search warrants in El Dorado County. Investigators arrested Frank Vincent Sierras, 24, of El Dorado Hills related to the shooting. He was booked into the Sacramento County Jail for attempted murder, and is currently being held in lieu of $1,000,000 bail.
