UPDATE #LASD Homicide Investigating Shooting Death and Officer Inv Shooting, Hawthorne PD 
**2nd UPDATE**
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing to assist Hawthorne Police Department with investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a woman, which led to an officer involved shooting in the 14200 block of Kornblum Avenue, Hawthorne.
Detectives have released the identity of the victim as 34-year-old, Denise Barry.
The suspect in the officer involved shooting has been identified as 38-year-old, Robert Washington.
Two suspects who were passengers in Washington’s vehicle were arrested and identified as 24-year-old, Stanley White and 19-year-old, Brandon White.
Suspect Stanley White was arrested and booked at Hawthorne Police Department for murder. He is currently being held in lieu of one million dollars bail.
Suspect Brandon White was arrested and booked at Hawthorne Police Department for conspiracy to commit any crime. He is currently being held in lieu of one million dollars bail.
The facts of the case will be submitted to the District Attorney’s Office for filing consideration.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing to assist Hawthorne Police Department with their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a female adult, which led to an officer involved shooting in the 14200 block of Kornblum, in Hawthorne.
Detectives have learned that a Hawthorne police officer was parked southbound on Kornblum Avenue, in his marked patrol vehicle, monitoring traffic when the victim pulled her vehicle adjacent to his and told him that another vehicle had been following her. The officer told her to pull her vehicle in front of his and pull over so that he could assist her. At that moment, another vehicle pulled adjacent to her. A male adult exited that vehicle with a firearm and began firing at the female and her passenger, a male juvenile. The Hawthorne police officer exited his patrol vehicle and fired his weapon at the suspect. The suspect was struck by gunfire and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The female was struck by the suspect’s gunfire and pronounced dead at the scene. The male juvenile was also struck by the suspect’s gunfire but was able to get out of the vehicle and away from the scene. He was transported to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.
The driver and rear passenger of the suspect vehicle, both male adults have been detained and are being interviewed by Sheriff’s Homicide detectives.
It is unknown if there was any relationship between the victims and the suspect.

VICTIM(S): 1 Female adult, and 1 Male juvenile
SUSPECT: 1 Male adult
NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives are responding to Rosecrans Avenue and Kornblum Avenue, Hawthorne, to assist Hawthorne Police Department investigate the circumstances surrounding an officer involved shooting and shooting death of a female adult.
The suspect, a male adult, was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim, a female adult, was also pronounced dead at the scene. An additional male victim was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
There is no additional information available at this time.
