The Cornwall Borough Police Department is offering a training lecture on interaction with persons having Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD).
The Presenter is Dennis Debbaudt, A nationally recognized expert trainer on Autism/ASD safety, and the founder of Debbaudt Legacy Production.
Each session includes information about:
Common behaviors & characteristics, public safety issues, criminal justice issues, initial contact options, fire-rescue & emergency medical response and more!
Location of the program will be at the Cornwall United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall SR 419 & Alden Street Cornwall, PA
There are 3 sessions available:
April 30, 2015
Daytime sessions: 8:15 am - 11:45 am, 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm
Evening Session: 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Daytime sessions are geared toward; Police Fire, rescue, EMS, 911 Center Personnel and School Administrators, personnel and staff
Evening session is geared more toward: Parents of autistic children, community members, mental health professionals and social workers.
There is no cost for attendees. Light refreshments will be provided.
