CRIMESTOPPERS: Search Continues for Germany Street Murder Suspect

Columbia Police Chief Skip Holbrook announces that the search continues for a wanted suspect in connection with Sunday night’s Germany Street murder.

Investigators have an outstanding murder arrest warrant for Jerimiah Amir Pough (DOB: 8-12-1995).

Pough should be considered armed and dangerous.

Investigators believe that Pough is eluding police and may be receiving assistance from family and / or friends in the area.

Charges could be filed against anyone who is harboring Pough, or helping him avoid an arrest.

Arrest warrants for Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime have been entered into the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) database.

Local, state and national law enforcement officers have been notified of the case and know that Pough is wanted by CPD.

Investigators continue to follow leads and Crimestoppers tips regarding Pough’s whereabouts.

Additionally, CPD officers continue to receive assistance from members of the United States Marshals Service Task Force in the search for him.

Pough and co-defendant Jahmir Joseph Taylor (DOB: 3-23-1995) allegedly shot and killed 17-year-old Eric Washington on March 15, 2015.
